Krabi Trip: Unexpected Experience (5/3/2018)

Right. 5/3/2018.
A good day with good weather and everything are good.
I (was supposed) to go to Krabi today!

Using Malindo Flight OD1065 which depart from Kuching at 1145am reach KL 130pm.
Then I will be using Airasia to fly to Krabi at 500pm.

Unexpected thing happened.
MALINDO AIR DELAYED DUE TO MAJOR TECHNICAL PROBLEM.

Delayed from 1145am to 1230pm then from 1230pm to 130pm then delayed till 5pm only depart.
Yes. I was pissed off and swore that I will never use Malindo next time if I want to go overseas.
But what to do? Fact is fact and it happened.

So Malindo gave us the voucher for lunch which we will claim from MarryBrown inside the Kuching International Airport. Then wait till 5pm. Oh no. Delayed again. Till 615pm. FINALLY WE ALL CAN BOARD TO THE PLANE.

Right. Nice food. Okay nevermind. Lol. We reached KLIA airport around 8something night time. Hence, we decided to go to KLIA2 to settle the Roaming problem and bought the international adapter.

Oh yes. The original Airasia Flight ticket can't be used anymore so wasted. We booked a new flight which depart 7am from KLIA2 and reach 730am to Krabi the next day. (Do note that Thailand timezone is +7 which is slower 1 hour than in Malaysia). The price for one person is MYR175

Also, we have to book a hotel in KL too to stay overnight.
We booked Tune Hotel nearby the LCCT which costs us around MYR 102 one night included with free shuttle bus to KLIA2 the next day.

So this is the hotel where we stayed. And something ridiculous happened as well. THE LIGHT OF THE HOTEL CAN'T SWITCHED OFF. Seriously? Now? In this situation? We have to wake up early 4am next day so we were too lazy to argue and just sleep like that. My boyfriend was totally speechless and said what a wonderful day today. I laughed so hard and finally fell asleep.

Luckily it was running smooth. We used the free shuttle bus provided by the hotel and managed to check in and wait for boarding. Look at this cute little leopard! I got it from Happy Meal Mcd Breakfast set!!!

Finally, off to Krabi.

Seriously it's really an unexpected situation and unexpected experience for both of us. Luckily we treat it as a joyful moment in our life and managed to make fun out of it.

But next time, no more malindo if I have any connecting flight next.
