Ho Chi Minh with ♥ 5/8/2-19 - 9/8/2019 Day 2
Finally come to the next day!
Let me share the pictures of our room we were staying first!
And below will be the breakfast we have that day!
TYPICALLY JUST FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS HOTEL THE SECOND DAY I STAYED THERE.
Services are just EXCELLENT! The staffs were nice to you. The one who assists you provided you the best service you can imagine. They can speak in English so no worries in communicate with them!
Right after our breakfast we started our trip!
But it rained once we reached to Ben Thanh Market.
I just realized I didn't really take any pictures about this market. But it's just look like a Central market in any other country. You can found local food, souvenirs, clothes, jewellery etc inside.
We finished explored in just half an hour tho 😂
After that we walked to nearby mall to wait for the rain to stop.
This is Ho Chi Minh City Hall
After the rain stop, we walked to Katinat Saigon Café. Many people said that it's a must go café in Ho Chi Minh so I decided to go and take a look. We spent around 73K VND for two drinks: Vietnam Hot Coffee and Orange Plum Juice.
View from the first floor
Oh forgot to say that we did passed by their Municipal Theatre when we were on our way to this cafe! It's an independent building!
In front of Municipal Theatre
Next station will be Notre Dome Cathedral of Saigon.
Alright there is something funny inside this picture.
Sadly it's under renovation so it's closed. Just across the street will be the Central Post Office of Saigon!
Inside there also selling a lots of souvenirs etc. Tourists can choose to post their postcards back to their country from here too!
Just besides this post office, you can saw Ho Chi Minh Book street.
Book street = Selling books all along the street.
It's a nice and quiet street. You can enjoy reading a book here or find the book you admire to buy it home.
Alright the next station will be pretty far, which is Tan Dinh Catholic Church, which also known as pink church. You can choose to use Grab to go there or walk, if you want. While both of us choose to walk as we can see the street view, maybe explore some other places that not inside our map or our plan.
Seriously I was amazed by the pretty pink design of the church!
Lunch time! Beef noodle 100K VND.
So Tan Dinh church was our last station of the day. The distance between it and our hotel is around 40+ minutes by walking. And yes, we choose to walk back to our hotel 😂
Picture taken outside the church!
Our stop while walk back to our hotel. 42K VND.
At this day, we have our dinner at Pham Ngu Lao Street.
Coconut obviously
Consists of all kinds of Vietnam local food.
I forgot is it Shrimp or Pineapple fried rice
Costs us around 245K VND. All were delicious except for the Vegetable Spring roll. Honestly I CAN'T ACCEPT THE TASTE OF THAT RAW VEGETABLE. Yuck!
If you are free after you have your dinner, you can walk around Pham Ngu Lao Street and explore their night life. While my boyfriend and I walked to the Ben Thanh market again. It's closed. But there were other night market just besides Ben Thanh market.
So that's all for day 2!
Day 3 is here!
