Relaxing Cameron Highland trip 23/2/2020 - 25/2/2020

After done our trip in Penang, we took a bus to Cameron Highland.
The road trip is about 4 hours.

We stayed at the Georgetown in Penang Island, and the bus station is located at Butterworth, another side of Penang Island. So there are two options to go there from Georgetown: Through ferry or through the Penang Bridge. We chosen Ferry as it's the cheapest option.

Do mind that, from Georgetown to Butterworth by using ferry, it's free of charge. While from Butterworth to Georgetown, it charged. I don't really remember how much is it. RM1? Should be.

As for the bus to Cameron Highland, it costed around RM37 or RM35 for one person? I don't really remember. And this option might not be suitable for those who are easy to get carsick or old people. I'm really calm when we are on the way to Cameron Highland but I start to get carsick when the bus going up to Cameron Highland. Maybe because the bus shake too much bahahaha.

Our hotel in Cameron Highland located at Brinchang. I chosen this location because I saw all the attractions are nearby this area. Then only I found out that the bus station, banks, supermarkets, convenient stores, motorcycle rental places, all are located at Tanah Rata, which is 10 minutes drive from Brinchang. Luckily the bus driver willing to drop us down when the bus stopped at the Petrol Station Brinchang 😂

So guys, next time if you want to go to Cameron Highland, do remember to stay at Tanah Rata Area . Then you wouldn't need to spend extra money for taxi to send you up to Tanah Rata from Brinchang as there is no Grab there. From Brinchang to Tanah Rata is around RM10- RM15. Depends.

Below pictures are the place we stayed. The living room and the kitchen is the public area. Our room was attached together with bathroom.

And the weather in Cameron Highland is damn cold. My boyfriend and I was too naive that we didn't bring any sweater as we thought that the weather and the temperature might be the same as Genting Highland but the truth proven us wrong. DAMN COLD. My boyfriend has to wear two shirts together while I'm lucky because I brought my favorite sweater to wear it when I was on the plane.
Since it's around dinner time when we arrive so we just set down and rest without having any activity.

-----------------------------DAY 2-------------------------------------

So we need to go to Tanah Rata to rent a Scooter / Motorcycle in order to get around Brinchang and those attractions. At first I was too naive [AGAIN] that maybe we can walk? No. That's impossible. For those who has this kind of thinking, please forget about it.

This is the place where we get our scooter

This place is located near the Ambank Tanah Rata, at the corner.
We rent a Scooter for 6 hours, RM40. While the petrol is only RM3.
It's prohibited to go to Mossy Forest, and the waterfall with the scooter. Or else you will lost your deposit.
The advantage of renting a scooter is, very convenient for parking!! But not convenient when it is raining or too hot. [giggles]

I definitely love the plants and the vegetables of Cameron Highland. They are so fresh!! Especially succulent and the cactus! Man how I hope I can bring them back to the hometown.

The first station we went was The Lavender Garden.
On the way there we passed by a food court.
Look for the stall name Cari Cari Makan.
Their foods were delicious! Definitely worth a try.

I kinda miss the taste.

So after lunch, we continue our way to Lavender Garden and finally we reach! With entrance fee RM10 per person.

This place suitable for those who loves flowers. All those flowers are pretty! Maybe due to the weather up there in Cameron Highland. Suitable for those who love photo-shooting too!

We also visited few places like Time Tunnel, vegetable markets, Bee Farm etc but nothing there. Maybe they were closed due to the low season.
Our last stop is the Big Red Strawberry farm. Spent RM25 for both to pick the Strawberry.

It's an amazing experience by the way!
And hence our trip end!!

--------------------FOR DINNER IN BRINCHANG---------------

If you stay at Brinchang and don't know where to dinner?
Go to this restaurant. Restoran Mountain House
The owner is very nice and the food is delicious too!
We spent RM50 for three dishes and two rice.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

So that's the end of our trip!

And enjoy our video!
